The Best Places To Live according to The Progessive Farmer

The Progressive Farmer ranked Union County, one of the counties in which Beresford is located, as the second best county in which to live for the year 2006. This ranking is up from being the eleventh best county in which to live in 2005. Especially impressive is the fact that Union County was the only county in South Dakota to be ranked in 2005 and only county to be ranked in both 2005 and 2006. Lincoln County, the other county in which Beresford is located, was the only other South Dakota county to make the 2006 list coming in as the 172nd best county in which to live.
