When is City Hall open?
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, except for Federal holidays and weather emergencies.

Where do I apply for a building permit?
You can apply for a building permit at the Beresford City Hall. 

Who do I call if I plan on digging?
Contact South Dakota One Call by dialing 8-1-1; please call at least 2 days before you dig.

How will I know if/when there is a snow alert?
When two inches or more of snow is predicted or has fallen, it is unlawful to park any vehicle on the streets for 24 hours after the snowfall, or until snow removal has been completed curb to curb. Plowing starts on the snow emergency routes first and then to the side streets. Please follow our Facebook page to watch updates.

Does City Hall have a notary?
Yes, there are several employees that can notarize documents; there is no fee for this service.

Does the City have a storm shelter?
Yes, located in the Pool's bathrooms. Check out our Storm Shelter page for more information.

What are the Rubble Site hours?
Summer hours are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 1:30-4:30 PM, Wednesday from 1:30-7:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00-3:00 PM. Check out our Garbage, Rubble & Recycling page for more information.

What are the Recycling Center's hours?
