Beresford Volunteer Fire Department
The Beresford Fire Department was formed in 1889. In 1999 the Department celebrated 100 years of service to the Beresford area. The Beresford Fire Department consists of 40 volunteers that respond to fires and other emergencies in the Beresford Area. The Department typically responds to over 100 various emergencies each year. From house fires to car fires, the City of Beresford Volunteer Fire Department is always ready to respond.

Currently the City of Beresford Fire Department has 2 pumpers, 2 brush trucks, 2 water tankers, a rescue truck, a 4x4 rescue truck and a pump and ladder truck, as well as the "Jaws of Life" to assist in rescue operations.
