Pay Your Bill
Utility & BeresfordTel Bills
City of Beresford Utility and Beresford Municipal Telephone Company (BeresfordTel) bills are mailed out the first of each month and payment is due on the 15th of that month. If payment is not postmarked or received by the 15th, a 5% penalty will be added to the next bill. If the 15th falls on a weekend, you have until the following Monday to pay the bill without penalty.

Utility Bill - Includes electric, water, sewer and garbage pickup. Water and electric meters are read on the 20th of each month and those services will be billed the following month (ex: water and electricity consumed between December 21 and January 20 will be billed on the February 1 bill).

BeresfordTel Bill - Telephone, cable, and/or internet is billed prior to use of the service (ex: the January 1 bill is for services used during January).

Payment: You can pay your bill(s) using any of the payment options listed below. If you choose to pay online, please select the appropriate choice under Payment Type and enter the requested information (account numbers are listed on your bill(s). Invoices
The City of Beresford may send you an invoice for City services requested by you or for services provided due to failure to comply with City Ordinances; this invoice may include labor and materials.

Payment: You can pay your invoice using one of the payment options listed below. If you pay online, select "Invoice" as the Payment Type, and enter the invoice number for the Account Number.

Parking/Snow Removal Tickets
If you receive a Parking Violation or Snow Removal Violation ticket from the Beresford Police department, you must pay the City of Beresford.

Payment: You can pay your ticket using one of the payment options listed below. If you pay online, select "Parking/Snow Removal Tickets" as the Payment Type, and enter the ticket number (upper left corner of the ticket) for the Account Number, .

**This does NOT include speeding tickets or other violations received from the City of Beresford
Police Department. These tickets must be paid to the correct county/state agency.**
Payment Options
At City Hall
Both utility and BeresfordTel bills can be paid at City Hall anytime Monday-Friday, between 8 AM-5 PM. You can pay with cash, check (both bills can be added together and paid by one check), by credit or debit card, or with a money order. Please remember to bring your payment stubs with you.
You can mail both utility and BeresfordTel payments to City Hall (you can add your utility and BeresfordTel bills together and write one check). Please do not mail cash. Be sure to include both payment stubs and mail your check or money order to:

Drop Box
If you are unable to come to City Hall during our operating hours, you can utilize our Drop Box right by our front door. Please put your payment along with your payment stubs in an envelope and drop it in our secure drop box. The night drop is checked daily.

Automatic Bank Withdrawal
The City of Beresford is able to offer automatic withdrawal from your bank account for your utility and/or BeresfordTel bills. The withdrawal takes place on the 15th of each month; if the 15th is on a Saturday or Sunday, the withdrawal will be on the following Monday.

In order to start automatic withdrawals, you will need to complete our Authorization for Automatic Payments form.
Online
You can now pay your bill(s) online. This method requires a debit or credit card and charges a convenience fee of 1.75% for using a debit card and 2.50% for using a credit card (minimum fee for both is $1.95). Please click the button below to make an online payment.
