"Star of Life"

Just as physicians have the caduceus, and pharmacists have the mortar and pestle, Emergency medical technicians have the "Star of Life".

The Beresford ambulance is made up of volunteers who donate their time to helping others in need.  The ambulance staff consists of over 20 volunteer EMT's, who respond to accidents, emergencies and other related medical emergencies.  Each of the volunteers has completed basic EMT schooling, which consists of over 110 hours of training.  Some of the EMT's have furthered their training by attending other classes to increase their knowledge and ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

The Beresford Ambulance responds to all calls whether in City limits or along the interstate.
